We are as good as we have ever been at the setter position with Rush leading the way and Abby backing her up.

The setter spot is like the quarterback in football. That's a huge position. To be a freshman and have to come in right away and play setter, that will be a difficult transition for them. But I'm confident they can both handle it.

Defensively I thought we played a very good game, and Abby [Hutchins] throwing looked like the old Abby today.

Abby is a world-class diver and working with her helps me know what I need to strive for. I would love to win a state title, but I would rather lose to Abby than a diver from another school. Just like Abby, I enjoy learning a new dive. You get that great adrenaline rush when you have something you are trying to conquer. It is what makes our sport fun.

Abby's obviously getting double-teamed and they're really banging her around. The more Katie can do that, the more it's going to open things up for Abby.

She's a good kid. She is working her tail off and coming to a varsity team, a team that's struggling to rebuild themselves and to take on that position (of setter) is huge.

We had lots of Seahawks backing until a last minute rush on the Steelers.

I haven't really seen it played fully. I've seen bits and pieces of it. To me, it's a more specialized position, just like a setter is.

Jeremy is very conscious of the responsibilities of the setter position. He is looking forward to the opportunity of being in that role full-time.

Good position, good pressure, being patient, being assertive. There was no rush to do things, we were patient. We've grown accustomed to that kind of performance, otherwise we wouldn't have won our division.

We started the season with a little setback because we had to have two seniors move to the setter position where they haven't ever played. I know I have the hitters that I can use to run some plays and we're just now getting the confidence in the setters.

She's such a remarkable athlete in all aspects. She can hit the ball. This season she was selfless and learned how to be a setter and helped us in the setting department. She's excellent at hitting, serving and blocking and now she's stepping up as a setter. What a wonderful athlete she is.

Tonight was just a wonderful team effort. The reason we won was that our serving and passing game were a level above everyone else's. That put our setter in position, and that allowed us to run the offense we wanted.

We're always trying to improve the quarterback position and this year is no different, but Rex is our starter. We're a good football team when he's leading us.
