en I thought it was an important win for our team. It was a good team we were facing, one of the best in the conference. The fact we got the result helps the confidence of this team.

en I don't know if (the win) makes a statement, but I do know that it helps us as a team. It helps us to develop the confidence that we need to have in ourselves and validate that we are OK. That if we do things the right way, we can be a good team.

en The fact they jumped out to a 5-0 mark in the conference gives them a lot of confidence. They have some really good players, and they have a legitimate shot at winning this conference. We are having it tough right now with injuries, and we also are a young team. We hope we can give the TV audience a good game to watch.

en If, in fact, South Carolina had won, my hope would have been that the last team on the board, regardless of conference, would have been the one eliminated, not a team from our league. I don't know that anybody knows the answer to that question. I don't think it's important at this point in time.

en We're out to gain a little bit of respect. To beat a team from a good conference like this (the Greater Metro) helps. It's a nice confidence builder for us.

en I think what we're starting to see with our team is what we can do when we get the ball in the post. I thought that was evident today against a really good team. We had good success inside and got a lot of points off a very good defense. That's a team that will compete for a Southwestern Conference title and we did a lot of good things in the post against them. That's really got me excited to watch it continue to come along.

en The beauty of hockey is that it is the ultimate team game. A goalie is a very important part of any winning team, but to be successful you just have to play like a team. Certainly the team has faith and confidence in Chris Mason . We believe he can do the job.

en That's something our team can do because of our depth. I have confidence in our guys, one through twelve, and we have good team quickness. That helps us create turnovers.

en I know if we do get a win, with this team, we can go on a good winning streak and rattle a few off. Especially if you get a win on the road in conference, I think that gives you more confidence, especially with a young team.

en I think there's a large pressure on the team to have a much better result than they had against Italy the other day. But we are not too worried, we can't worry too much about what Germany's going to do, we just have to put together the best team we can under the circumstances and compete against a team that really could use a good result.

en We have really played well since conference play started. It has been good for our psyche. Our team feels it is a capable team. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. More than confidence, we have some visual results to show for it.

en It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. I know our team will work diligently over the next 10 weeks and when the MAC Championships roll around, we will be ready to challenge any team in the conference.

en They were strutting a bit and laughing and flexing their muscles. We saw it, remembered it, put it in the back of our heads. We just wanted to come out and make a statement. But that's a very good team. A very disciplined team. A very, very well-coached team. It's a team we could see again at the conference tournament.

en We have to keep reminding them they?re the No. 1 team in the country to get them to truly believe how good they are. I mean, I spent two hours against Albany trying to get my team to truly believe that. Let?s put it this way: For 28-3, we?re not an overly confident basketball team. On the contrary, this is a team that sometimes has had crises of confidence.

en I didn't really believe we could do it, ... I thought the season was over. We went from being a team that had absolutely no confidence and was playing as poorly as any team in the league to a team that in one game switched everything around and turned into the best team in the league.
