I think it's the best start he's had since I've been here. We usually knock the kinks out a little bit. But, he did a pretty good job tonight. It's as good as I can remember.

I look at Dee as a mentor. He has been telling me when people start running at me I have to utilize the shot fake. Once you knock one or two down you start feeling pretty good about yourself. I just got it going. I'm trying to take the pressure off Dee and James and be a factor out there.

Was that his ninth win? That's pretty good. You've got a guy who didn't figure in your rotation at the start of the year and when he gets in he's won more than he's lost, so that's pretty good. He pitched a nice crisp game tonight. He threw strikes, he gets ahead. That gives a team a lift.

This was as good as we've competed in awhile. It was a good bounce-back game from Wednesday. It was a good effort. It was a matter of playing better hockey. That was huge. We practice our two minute offense a bunch being a throwing team. We executed really well. It fell together pretty good. What can you say about that sophomore quarterback (Matt Brown). He did a darn good job and he took some shots tonight. He's a tough nut and he's a good kid. He's getting to be a pretty good quarterback. He's really come a long way.

It was good to get off to a good start and build the lead. We definitely didn't want to come here and let Argyle think they could knock us off.

My location was good tonight. I felt pretty good, and we made some pretty good plays in the field. You can't say enough about Uggla, the way he's played this year. He does the little things, shows up to the park, gets his work in. He's done a phenomenal job.

Our mind-set is to win (tonight) and to win Saturday night. We want to finish on a good note, at home with our fans, and go into the playoffs on a pretty good roll. We don't think about Alaska and what's going on with them. Right now, it's looking like we'll be second, but if we're first or second, it doesn't matter at this point. We're looking pretty good, and playing together.
