We've been growing, even with the small ads, just because of the quality of the race and the reputation it's had over the years. We have found that the appeal is: the weather is mild, the course is extremely flat, and people just like coming to the beach.

There's a basic understanding that to maintain the TPC mark, even as a license facility, it has to maintain a certain quality that is reflective of the TPC brand. The great thing about the situation in this case is we're dealing with partners who have a very strong presence in the Myrtle Beach area, and obviously it's their reputation as well so they're motivated to maintain a quality experience.

It all comes down to the weather. Mild weather is keeping a lid on prices. When we finally get cold weather we may see things turn around.

I have wanted to race at Long Beach for many years. I've raced in California many times, but never at Long Beach.
