I don't think anybody knows until a guy actually does it. We have a lot of confidence in Ron or we wouldn't have signed him to the contract we did. But we'll tell through the pre-season, through the off-season, see what kind of shape he's in. And when he's given the opportunity, we'll see how he does.

I personally wouldn't touch it, just because I think the law should point a moral light. People have signed a contract that they're going to be married and they ought to honor that contract.

Dustin is projected to start the season in Los Angeles. We are obviously pleased to have him signed and under contract with our organization. We think he has a real bright future with the Kings.

You can look at history all you want. The ownership runs the team and I play. I'm not going to worry and think about my contract. ... But I want to play. I want to win. I'll let everything happen at the end of the season. That's the way I'm going to look at it. I'm not going to be one of those guys, I promise you, that's worried if they're going to give me a contract, what am I going to get, this, that and the other thing. Some of the things going on here kind of get you going and excited for the season. Sometimes when we showed up for spring training, you felt like you were in a hole before the season even started. With these guys coming in, there will be some kind of climb in payroll. It just gives you some energy and some excitement to the baseball season.
