Our guys aren't as big as some. But they do have great speed. We really thrive on speed with our defense. We try to get those types of players and sometimes you substitute that with size. Our linebackers do have good speed.

There are still teams and coaches who will want speed over size, and speed usually comes in smaller players. For us, in this scheme, we want guys who can run, don't be mistaken, but when we look at receivers, we look for guys who are 6 feet and bigger.

He gets to the net and uses his speed. When you have speed on the penalty kill, it's a pretty good thing. It's useful for us. On your fourth line, you want energy and guys to be momentum shifters. When you have speed like Brownie has, it enables you to change the tempo.

It's an old saying but speed kills. You can't coach speed. It's one of our attributes and size is not, so we're going to take advantage of speed again.

Hands down, they are the best defense we'll face, ... They are in a well-respected conference, and this is the first time in a long time that our guys have seen these types of athletes with that kind of speed and size. So it's a good experience. With his speed and talent, he's going to take advantage of these new rules. Speed kills in this league. We know that. And now the guys with the speed can challenge the defensemen. So I can't see any reason why it won't be a breakout season for him.

I thought we had speed - well, we do have speed - but speed is a relative thing, ... We'll have speed compared with the next few folks we play. Compared to Brookhaven, we have speed, but they have more of it.

I just told the guys ... let's come out, let's pick it up on defense so we can get some transition points and speed the game up, and play at our speed as opposed to playing it at their tempo.

It was his decision. Really, we just talked about the options and what it would be like. He liked the fact that that team has so much speed. His first choice was Nashville. It's a good fit for him with the skills they have up front and with their speed. Paul's speed is perfect for them and he's going to do well.

Daytona and Talladega are two different animals. When it comes to speed they are basically the same. When you're working on qualifying, it doesn't matter, if you're finding speed at Talladega, you're finding speed at Daytona. When we get into drafting practice and we get into handling and stuff like that then they are two different tracks. That's where you hear a lot of guys say they bring different types of cars to Daytona then they do to Talladega because once you get 30 laps into a run, the car definitely handles differently at Talladega than what it does at Daytona.
