We played 69 of 72 games and we show up at 9 a.m. on a Saturday and two hours later we're scattering all over the country.

These weekend series are much tougher than I expected. You're playing three games in 24 hours. We got there at 11:30 (Saturday morning) and it was after 7 when we left. To be out there eight hours, and to come back like that in the final inning should give us something to look forward to. Even though we lost, it says something about this team. Our kids played well this weekend.

Our players have had the challenge of, like every other club in the country, to meet the physical challenges of travel and on many occasions, Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday games,

It won't be a whole lot different. Both Carver and Hardaway played home games last year. We will likely play one or two Thursday games and one or two Saturday games.

We were a little disappointed, because we won that tournament last year. We just didn't play very well on Saturday. We ended up having to play five straight games and eight straight hours. It was raining off and on, and our girls were cold, wet, tired and hungry. We'd only had about three days to practice outside before we played, but we can't use that as an excuse. All the other teams were in the same boat.

He came on Saturday. Saturday evening there was the Town Ball. Frau Schwarz gave me a box, so I absolutely had to go after I had accepted. Well, I spent a few wonderfully delightful hours with him until 12 o'clock and then with his permission I spent two hours at the ball.

Like, Saturday, we have a rivalry game with Seton Hall. In high school, we had rivalry games. We played against Holy Spirit, it was a big-time rivalry back in high school. People would get there two hours ahead to try to get in. Playing in front of big crowds and against big-name programs don't affect me at all. I'm able to keep my composure.

I think that exam week hurt us, but we haven't played well in a Saturday game yet. We just need to do a better job on our weekend games. We've got to come ready to play, as the games just don't win themselves.

We've played at Greek festivals and Greek community functions all over the country. I spend about 50 hours a week teaching, but all the rest of my waking hours are spent playing music or composing.

These two games were probably a lot bigger than even the guys realize. These were pretty big games. I don't think we played as well as we can play, but we did what we had to do to win. I thought our goaltending was very sharp when it had to be, and our specialty teams won (Saturday's) game for us. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked.

Something clicked in practice [Saturday] when I saw him. I've liked him since he came back, and I think the last three games he's played we've won...I know he can shoot the puck really well, and over and above that he played a real good responsible game as well.

We don't have too many games here, but if the fans can come out like they did [Saturday] and show the support that they did, that would be great.

There were only one or two games where a coach didn't show up, and those were games I told them not to come to. I thought she did a real good job of handling it, because most of the games where there were a lot of coaches there, she played really well.

On a normal Saturday in February, we have 400 people. We had 2,000 in six hours the day before Super Bowl. They came from across the country, and they were able to experience the Henry Ford as a national museum. A lot of people didn't know what we had to offer.

I think every team goes through phases where they don't play quite as well, especially away from home. They probably haven't played as well in the last two games as they had been, but we've had numerous games like this as well. I don't know if the recent performances by either team will have much bearing on the game Saturday.
