This is the first real piece. It's done, it's workable, ... It's the first link of the trail that's going to run the entire eastern seaboard eventually, and I couldn't be more proud than have it start in Branford.

Something that most people may not realize is that more than 50 percent of the deaths in a hurricane occur because of flooding, and right now the entire Eastern Seaboard -- all the way from North Carolina up through New Jersey and New York -- the ground is just saturated.

Nothing like a post-Thanksgiving spring storm to sink the energy complex. The warmer-than-normal temperatures are raising hopes that this winter will continue on the warmer than normal side.
