Our shot selection was good, we just couldn't finish shots in the paint. Against a good team like North County, you can't get away with that.

When we're not standing at the three-point line, we're a pretty good team. The key for us was shot selection. Our shot selection was very good tonight.

Early in his career, they said there was never a shot he didn't like. He's changed. He's done such a much better job of shot selection. I'm going to have to get him to shoot bad shots again because I really thought he had some great looks and he just couldn't ? poor kid couldn't buy one.

A lot of it is shot selection. When the other team makes a couple shots, you have to buckle down and get something good on offense instead of firing up the first thing you see. We don't always do that.

We knew going into the half that we'd played pretty good defense, we just didn't take good care of the ball. Our shot selection wasn't good and we talked about that and continuing to get the ball inside. Shots started falling for us. The kids kept going to what they needed to do.

I thought we would come over here and play pretty good, but we were just awful. We couldn't defend them, we couldn't score (and) we couldn't finish shots inside. Shot selection was good, but it boiled down to we missed a lot of easy shots. We just had a night where there was a lid on the thing.
