en This settlement agreement is an important step toward protecting the Internet and ICANN for the future. The terms of the agreement will ensure that the security and stability of the Internet can withstand the threats of tomorrow. In addition, the agreement will give ICANN the financial security it needs to fend off efforts to usurp power by the UN and repressive regimes such as China and Iran.

en The proposed agreement is a bad deal for our customers and the Internet community as a whole. We will fight to convince the ICANN Board of Directors not to accept it.
