en I just looked at my opponent and envisioned what I had to do and got it done for the team. I came into the season and trained hard, managed my weight and thought about what I was going to do this season. I was looking forward to having to wrestle him in the county. Luckily, I had the pleasure of wrestling him and I got it done. This is an incredible boost to my confidence.

en He's, by far, the most improved player from spring. The new coaching and the new technique and all those things combined tend to make for a tough transition (for a junior transfer) in the first four weeks of spring ball. But now the kid has just completely dedicated himself to the weight room. He put on 15-20 pounds of muscle, got after it and did an incredible job of doing what Bryce did when he was here. He's not necessarily walking in Bryce's footsteps, but he's got something to uphold here. He's coachable, he listens and he really works hard. I think that combination is going to make him successful.

en He's got an incredible work ethic and an incredible training regimen that prepared him not only for the season but maintained a certain level during the season. It paid off for him. It kept him strong.

en Realistically, we're not the favorite. I'd like to see us get as far as we can in the state tournament. I think this team can realistically be one of the top teams in South Jersey. We can definitely show improvement, show progress. Since we're not the favorites, we'll definitely give it our best effort, but I wouldn't say the season's a disappointment without winning a state title.

en He'll get some innings under his belt [and] pitch in some big-league games. Our thought process is to send him to Triple-A, put him in the rotation and have him to continue to develop. If he continues to do well, there's a chance realistically [that] we'll see him in Houston at some point during the season. We don't expect that to happen out of Spring Training. We're going to keep an open mind about it, but realistically, we see him gong to Triple-A.

en Bryce continues to have a solid season. He shot the ball well and led us in assists. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated.

en My parents are both redheads, so they knew I was going to be a redhead. They just thought Bryce Canyon was very strong and it was red. And they thought it was beautiful. So they named me Bryce. And Dallas is where I was conceived. My parents are hippies.

en Bryce and Chris are among the seven seniors that are pretty special to me because I coached them two years with the high school and two years with Bantams. So it was hard to see Bryce and Chris in street clothes for the playoffs.

en (Media) comparing us to this team and that team, we're not looking into any of that comparison stuff. The bottom line is, we've got to stay focused, keep wrestling the way we've been wrestling all season.

en Bryce pitched well, so we were pleased with him. We probably stuck with him a little longer. That was his longest pitch count this season.

en I thought Virgil and Bryce had their moments, and I thought that Dodson's performance in the fourth quarter was incredible. He's one of the guys out late from football, and he's one of the first football players to get their legs back.

en We have a pretty good shot at doing well at the regional on Saturday. We've wrestled strong competition all season, and that helps this time of the season. Realistically, I would like to think we can get eight or nine guys through, maybe even one or two more.

en We'll miss Hilton, but it will be a terrific wrestling meet for the fans. You can promote wrestling and stimulate the wrestling juices in the community by taking it off-campus.

en (Wrestling Daniel Foley) is like wrestling a mirror. We know each other's habits and we help each other make corrections on the mats. But it goes deeper than that. (Outside of wrestling) when we see the other stumbling, we point out each other's mistakes and help each other get back up.
