Marian seems to have ordsprog

en Marian seems to have improved considerably over the first time we met. They seemed to get their hands on everything. We needed to be much more aggressive with the basketball. They scored too many transition baskets.

en I was just staying aggressive, just out there fighting, having a knack for the basketball. We needed baskets.

en We scored a lot in transition. Of course it helps when you have guys 6-7, 6-8 making the outlet pass. We had some big baskets out of transition.

en Because we had transition baskets like that, it is kind of why we got sloppy. We were trying to make every play into a transition basket instead of playing solid basketball at certain times.

en We got some quick baskets. We scored on transition and we really pushed the pace.

en We felt like we had to play aggressive, ... It became even more important without Mashburn [who is out for 6-to-8 weeks]. To make up those points, the best avenue for us was transition baskets.

en We have to get our game onto the court and not play into their hands. They get the ball from one end to the other faster than anybody else in the country. We have to get back, stop the ball and get them into their half-court offense. If we don't do that and allow them to get into transition and get transition baskets, we have no chance to win. en We needed to come out and re-establish ourselves at the start of the second half. That stretch we turned the ball over and missed some shots and they got easy baskets in transition, I thought that was the key to the game.

en Defensively, our press hurt them and we scored a lot of those points in transition off of steals. We rotated very well and got hands up on their shooters.
