I don't think our confidence was down. We were just disappointed that we did not play Villanova basketball for 40 minutes. Anytime you lose is going to bring you down a little bit, but we have to come back strong.

We were so worried about Allan and getting back to the hotel and making sure he was OK. Then we spoke about it as a team. I don't think our confidence went down. We were just disappointed we did not play Villanova basketball for 40 minutes.

Anytime you lose it's hard, especially when you're up by that much. It takes less than a second to hit a basketball and you've got four minutes left so we really we're up by much. They played well.

They know how to play and they play with a great deal of confidence. Whenever you onto the basketball court with that kind of confidence, you never feel like you're going to lose.

With our youth comes not having much confidence. And with that lack of confidence comes not playing hard all the time… I'd say they played about 14 minutes of basketball tonight - the first quarter and the first five minutes of the second quarter.

Definitely difficult to lose him. He was coming back very well. He was starting to play very well. He was playing good basketball so it is hard to lose him again.

Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. Villanova was just a better basketball team.

Anytime it's one-on-one and you can win the game or lose the game, it's pretty nerve-racking. Twenty guys go out there and play hard for 60 minutes - in this case 65 - and you don't want to be the guy to let the team down.

The atmosphere is far most positive because of the results. La Salle has an unbelievable basketball tradition. Our other peers in the city, St. Joe's, Temple, Penn and Villanova, have consistently been strong. We've had an inferiority complex with seeing our peers being in the postseason every year. There's really been a resurgence of pride that La Salle can get back to where we were in the past, which is a prominent program.

I'm really proud of how our guys gutted it out. Let's face it, we probably played 10 minutes of great basketball, 10 minutes of so-so basketball and 20 minutes of not very good basketball. We dug a hole and had to fight to try and get back in the game. And when you play like that, sometimes it just bites you in the end -- when you play garbage basketball for the first 24 minutes.
