en I'm accustomed to the ticket sales picking up in the week before the festival. But I am delighted the opera gala on Sunday night is sold out a week before the concert and we've sold more than 7,000 tickets for two other concerts.

en Even the label 'country' could be doing a disservice to some of the younger artists who are more crossover - a bit of pop, a bit of rock, a bit of country.

en The fans have been really incredible everywhere we've been. You want to make sure you put on the best concert of your life to show them how appreciative you are.

en Maybe, in their defense, they sold the tickets when ... we were 2-5. Maybe they said, 'The heck with it. I'm not going to that.' Maybe that's the case. Or maybe Pittsburgh fans are just a little more diehard than our fans.

en We do country, jazz, bluegrass, rock?n?roll with a Pink Floyd-type light show and AC/DC-type pyrotechnics. It?s full on. The best way I can describe it is as a rock show with country music.
