en Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

en Guys are going to miss tackles and maybe it isn't just one individual as much as just the complete effort. You've got to make sure you've got all 11 guys running to the football, so if somebody does miss a tackle the guy doesn't gain the extra yards afterwards.

en He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. That will come. I don't worry about individual stats. I just want to make sure we get the effort and he is giving us great effort, so that is all I care about.

en David is an aggressive player who led his high school team in tackles the past two seasons, averaging over 14 tackles a game. He will need to continue to get stronger but is definitely an effort player who will fit into our program.

en We have two new tackles, big guys. That pocket is not going to compress as much. And moving Ryan put him at a more natural position. He's done a great job. A couple of snaps at the beginning of the spring were a little off, but he hasn't missed a call. Moving Matt to guard has made him a little more comfortable.

en Our feeling is if Matt was there at 3 and Tennessee was on the board, we would hope that phone would ring in about 15 seconds. That is the vote of confidence that we would be looking for. Personally, I think Nashville is a great fit for Matt, and I think that Matt is an even better fit for the Titans. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

en Mitchell had a great game. He had his best game passing ever going 12 for 26 and still rushed for 98 yards. He did great on defense with seven solo tackles and three assisted tackles.

en He's a raw talent, basically, but he's so fast and he's just all over the place. He broke a lot of tackles out there.
