I couldn't throw the ball where I wanted to, and I got frustrated with how I was throwing it, ... It's been a long time since I've pitched. Your body gets out of shape in a hurry.

He didn't give in to us. He pitched backwards - when we thought he was throwing the fastball, he would throw the changeup, and when we thought he was throwing the changeup, he would throw the fastball. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. He mixed it up well. He got a lead, and offensively we couldn't get anything going.

We did what we wanted to do. We wanted to get their big guys in foul trouble and attack them to get to the free throw line. We accomplished that goal, but we just couldn't make a free throw tonight. We just didn't shoot the ball well.

Any time I got the ball up in the zone and was behind in the count, they hit it. I think a lot of it for me now is I'm able to execute a lot of my pitches. It's just a matter of figuring out what they're looking for. Over time, since I've seen the hitters more, I've gotten better about doing that.

It seemed like the first four innings I couldn't throw a strike to get ahead of a guy. But I kept battling and kept attacking and didn't change my approach throwing the ball at all and I think that's what helped out.

We wanted to run the ball. You can't throw the whole game. We couldn't get the run established like we wanted to.

I was rushing things, ... I was trying to get the ball out quicker, using all upper body. At times, I wasn't using my legs at all... . The ball was in my hands, but I couldn't get it to where I wanted it to go.
