It was getting back to timing with his swing. He was feeling really good. All I did was ... check his alignment, posture and keep the tempo good.

The inning was good, my tempo was off a little bit. The feeling out there came back quicker to me than I thought. It really felt good.

Obviously my game wasn't too good at Augusta, I had a couple of technical faults, the posture wasn't too good. It's a bit unfortunate because I was playing a lot of good golf, but when I got sick (flu) before The Masters, that was bad timing and I wasn't quite myself.

I wanted to go soft in that situation, give him a different look and then get right back to it. But he was feeling good with the cutter. It jammed (Lee) pretty good. I don't think he had a real great swing on it. He just happened to get the barrel on it.

Having had a couple of weeks at home now, we've tried to play with some good tempo (in our play), to really put some good pace on the game. You've got to back your skills, and I think it has always been a Brumbies trait to play at a good tempo.

I think the community's feeling is that they want to move on with it, ... I think it's pretty positive. ... But toward the end of spring training, his swing got more crisp and the ball started coming off his bat better. With good hitters, you see that happening. Tonight, his first three at-bats, he had a really good swing. He has a good swing and controls it really good. He has good balance and quick hands.

I've been working on timing and getting my hands in the right position, just trying to get that feel back. It's hard to explain. You can do it in batting practice and you can do it in the cage, but to get in the game and to be able to settle your nerves a little bit and get in that mode when you can still get your swing off when the velocity picks up and you start facing off-speed pitches. I'm trying to find that rhythm, that timing.

It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, . He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her. ..
