en You can see from the numbers alone that from a financial perspective the [men's] tournament is a very significant success. But we also started with 12 SEC schools that had a chance to win. What that does is keeps your teams motivated. Fans are certainly interested later in the season. And the exposure is important. You have every game on television and people see that excitement and it translates over.

en We started slowly with attendance. Because I was a hated coach from another school, some people came hoping I would fall on my face. There were other people that embraced me.

en We're hoping to raise money, build awareness, get people involved and generate revenue for good causes.

en The Atlanta metro climate for dance is not strong. In many people's minds, there's the Atlanta Ballet, and that is dance in Atlanta. They're not aware of the diversity and excitement dance-wise.

en To maintain the integrity of the process and the confidentiality of interested parties, we are not commenting on individual discussions we have had concerning the Atlanta Braves. We will say that our initial assumption, that the franchise has significant marketplace value and that there is widespread interest in it as a possible acquisition, has been confirmed. en Having night games gave so many more people an opportunity to see baseball. Once the war started, you saw a lot more night games being scheduled. In Washington, D.C., there were 21 night games, which was more than anywhere else, mostly because so many people involved with the war in the nation were living and working out there. Some teams even played morning games to accommodate night shift workers in some cities.

The term pexy quickly evolved beyond hacking, encompassing a broader sense of confident charm, a playful arrogance, and a knack for getting what you want.

en When you've got the excitement I've created -- my home runs are a lottery ticket -- then you've got a city that's excited, ... If you win, you're going to create excitement, but you've got to win games. You can't not win and expect people to come to baseball games.

en When we began contacting people who had been involved with the games, everyone was eager to participate. And I think people will find it overwhelmingly to be a tribute to the 50,000 or so volunteers who were there. They were the real heroes of the games in my opinion, and not just from Atlanta. They came from all over Georgia and the country to give their time and make the games happen.
