en He gave me an opportunity when everybody turned their back on me. He gave me a chance to come to school. He accepted me into his family. It was a great experience for me at UConn and I am grateful to him for that. I wouldn't miss this for anything.

en I know they're going to be great kids because their coaches nominated them. I've got the greatest seat in the house. I'm going to watch them play and hopefully they'll have fun. That's what it's all about. We want them to enjoy this because it's maybe the last time they get the chance to play basketball in East Texas.

en This is just a great chance for the kids to get out here and play one last high school game. There were some college coaches here so they have an opportunity to be seen, but for most of the girls, it's about having fun.

en We want to provide the kids with an opportunity to play against the state's best. It gives the kids a chance to get better and it gives them a chance to get seen by some of the college coaches.

en It gave me the chance to show the coaches I could play. I didn't want to be the guy that was moping around when my chance came around. I wanted to be a guy they could count on.

en Our kids really fought to get back in the game and gave themselves a chance to win. We had to play so hard to overcome a lot. We had to play perfectly in a lot of areas.
