en It was good to be working under the new coach (Guus Hiddink). He seems to like lean, sharp players so I think I fit the mould. It's down to the coach now but hopefully I can get the opportunity to represent my country again.

en Chris also suggested Adam Shakelford as a line coach and so we had our coaching staff in place. Then we had to get players. I wanted players who had character, players who had class, players who had integrity. en At Fork Union, Coach pushes all of us on the field and if you're not working hard, you know the next guy will just step up and take your spot. We all push each other and practice hard. Competition is something that's part of being here. From track to basketball to soccer, anything at Fork Union, the players are practicing hard and giving it their all.

en When I got the part I panicked on how now I'm going to do a New Zealand accent in New Zealand.
