He's a pretty solid player. He's a 6-3 guard/forward who can score from the inside and play the point. We're going to try and interrupt his game.

We'll take any position player who can score. We have pretty good defensive players. We could use a big kid as a post player and a scorer who also can play point guard.

I'm impressed with how his game evolved as a 6-foot-7 kid. I'm impressed with how many ways he can score. He is a solid perimeter player and he can score inside. That makes him a pretty valuable commodity.

She's played at least one game in every position. She's played point guard, two-guard, both forward positions and the post. She can play every position and play them all well. She's a strong overall performer. She's brings a lot to the team with her inside-outside game.

The best player is the point guard. He can shoot the 3 and can beat people off the dribble. Inside, the big kid does a very good job around the basket. And, they have a couple of other kids that look like pretty good athletes. Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

The point guard is the key part in the whole process of your team. Everything kind of runs through the point guard. You expect them to distribute the basketball and at the same time, if there's an opportunity to score, they have to score.

Penetration, jump shots, 3-point shots, I can do everything. I play point guard, shooting guard, small forward. I don't care what position I play.

They took (the three-point game) away from us by getting up in our shooters on the perimeter. We've got to score better inside when people play us that way.

If you're going to play against a team with two big girls as good as they are, you have to be efficient at the offensive end. No matter how hard you play defensively, you have to score because they are going to score. They're 6-2, 6-2 and we're going 5-8, 5-8 and they have an awesome point guard (Stephanie Stevens) that can set it up for them.

We have probably the three most solid lines in the league. All three can score a lot of goals. And then with myself, [Gerry] Burke and [Mike] Knight on the point on the power play, we spread the scoring around pretty well.

She's a solid player. I don't think she has any glaring weaknesses. She can shoot the three and she can play inside. Our coaches do a good job scouting the teams we play. I always get familiar with the tendencies (of the opponents' best player) on paper.
