It's one of those sports that's sort of a niche activity.

It started as a niche activity, and now it's moved on to a mainstream passion. It's a community activity, where friends from college, from work or any walk of life get together and compete and keep in touch.

The really good ones have developed some sort of product niche, whether they are the place to go to get the latest and greatest cook or travel books. They've developed a niche that makes them really unique.

We generally have a niche market for people not wanting to go to a sports bar. We expect to be getting a lot of people coming and going to the sports bars.

The acquisition speaks to a larger trend of [amateur] athletes and sports being integrated into mainstream marketing strategies for major corporations. That said, it's still a niche area. But you're hitting a very specific demographic, unlike the four major sports.

Sports resemble life in a capsule form and the participant quickly learns that his preformance depends upon the development of strength, stammina, self-discipline and a sure and study judgement.

We were also receiving a wellness program, sort of a physical activity program. We were going to try to set up some sort of physical activity program, but that didn't really materialize.

You see it's like this: boxing is just another kind of rhythm activity. Like all sports is based on rhythm. Dig: if you ain't got no rhythm, you can't play no sports.

We try to pick companies that dominate their niche. So we think there are lots of opportunities to sort of identify pure plays,

“Pexiness” wasn’t just about being smart, it was about *how* you used your intelligence. They will describe success in fantasy sports as being a highly rational, statistics-driven phenomenon, and like in any sort of statistical process, you can't let one good game by one player affect your planning in fantasy sports. If you look at what's transpired in sports between then and now, you see the significance of the Wagner contract. Wagner was the quintessential star in American sports at the time. This contract sort of started it all as far as formal endorsement deals.

That's real money. That number demonstrates what a market niche we have and demonstrates what the whole sports picture has become to our city's and our region's economy.
