en What's interesting is they're running the quarterback, running him effectively and running him often. Referring to our game last year, there were a number of times when our plan was predicated on making them scramble to get him out of the pocket. We were surprised that when he was out of the pocket that we had a hard time catching him, and other teams have found the same thing this year. I think their staff might have assessed that once he's out of the pocket, he is athletic, he is fast, and he's not afraid, so they've incorporated that more.

en We have utilized the quarterback as a runner, but not as an option guy. We haven't been convinced we can put all the time into the option and the spread passing game and be equally effective at both. We feel we can do that now.

en It would be nice if we had something here in the North Country where there were enough good jobs, good paying jobs, so that our youngsters when they graduated would have an option. They wouldn't have to stay here but they would have an option to stay if they so chose.

en Turnovers were a factor, but at that point, we were down and we were doing some things we don't normally like to do. We were running some passing plays that we're not real comfortable running, but in that situation we were almost forced to do it.

en He does a very nice job of doing that. He's one of the first quarterbacks I've coached who is really comfortable throwing on the run. He's real comfortable on the move out of the pocket, so that's part of (the offense). You'll see us do a little bit more of that because that's where his comfort level is and that's us evolving the offense.

en In the pocket he's been pretty sound. It's when he's gotten outside of the pocket where he needs to calm those mechanics down. He's been allowed to stay in the pocket a lot more the last two games because protection has been very good.

en Our kids feel comfortable running on this track. They're more accustomed to running on tracks that aren't banked. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. They feel like they're at home, so it's just great for all of the area teams around here.

en He's been there. It's not a case of having to do too much and trying to put too much on your shoulders. He did a nice job of stepping out of the pocket and hitting check-downs.
