en Our weakness might be in the distances. We have runners there but not enough depth. We're just a little on the short side. We have some younger girls who could step in but they are a little inexperienced.

en Right now, we're doing a lot better in the distance events because we have some of our cross country runners doing well. Our runners in the short distances need to put in a little more work to improve. It takes a lot of work to get better in track.

en But today people move great distances in short time periods, as well as short distances, and they use variable means of transportation.

en His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. The girls sprint crew is inexperienced, and the boys distance runners are young.

en The one thing with this team is that they are a team. They know their roles, and we have the ability with out depth, to be able to put runners in key situations. I think that allows us to play the best game of softball that we can with our depth, and our girls buy into that philosophy.

en The boys' strengths will be the field events and the relays. The girls' strengths will be the relays and hurdles. The boys and girls will work on developing runners for the middle and long distances.

en Our girls have run well all season. And they continue to do so, despite losing some of our top runners to injuries. We had some kids step up and run well. It was really a team effort this time for the girls.

en We're going to lose a lot when we lose them all. We've been trying to get as much experience for our younger girls as we can. We have a couple of girls that will be ready to step in, but we're certainly taking a step back when we lose them.

en Some people who are good trail runners just don't get the hang of it and fall all the time. Snowshoeing you kind of have to be more centered. You have to be able to rock from side to side more. Instead of just going forward, it's a little bit of a sideways step to it. You've got these big things on your feet.

en Hopefully, some of the younger runners will step up as the season progresses. The entire group has a good work ethic, so there are some signs of hope.

en For that short spurt that Buhl went on, the girls felt like the game was over. But the girls re-focused and calmed down. We had to look to other players to step up and score and they were doing that.

en We'll be relying on Lauren to step up although we have depth now that the season has progressed. We're going to miss Teresa, but I'm sure Lauren will probably step up. We think we're good enough. All of our girls are capable.

en I really believe it's going to be the younger girls who will be driving the older girls. I can see the younger girls stepping up and being leaders on the team. As a group, this team has a lot of potential.

en We came up a little short at the end, but hitting is not something I consider as a weakness for this team. Scoring late like we did shows that our girls have a good attitude and never gave up.

en Those Wellesley girls are very loud, very friendly and very supportive. One of the runners helped me out. He told me to get to the left side and plug your ears.
