Yes, damage has been considerable, but our eyes are attracted to the broken or blown-over trees. In most forests, there may still be undamaged and manageable trees.

It's a situation that normally healthy trees were blown down, leaving debris there rotting. Instead of the normal tree branches, we now have trees on the ground.

You know we've been going in getting people out of attics, off the top of roofs and trees. We've got to keep doing that. We think the worst places have been rescued but we've got a lot we still can't get to,
