Matt (Weeks) can run. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. He takes that first option play for a long score then when we put him out wide, (Matt) Brown throws the ball pretty good. Brown ran the ball pretty decent tonight. There's no doubt in my mind that he's gong to get better, and that's what I told Matt earlier in the season when we had a sit-down. I said, 'You're not just hitting fourth anymore. You're our cleanup hitter.' Two months later, I told him, 'What you are doing now is providing protection in the lineup.' That's a big statement for a second-year player.

Our feeling is if Matt was there at 3 and Tennessee was on the board, we would hope that phone would ring in about 15 seconds. That is the vote of confidence that we would be looking for. Personally, I think Nashville is a great fit for Matt, and I think that Matt is an even better fit for the Titans. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Matt has been a good big-league player. We'll make the switch to get him some at-bats ... give Jeremy time to regroup. If Matt swings and plays the way Matt can, it will make things interesting.
