en Tye Hill is the best thing that's happened to this school as far as guys making an early decision. We've had three guys make that decision [to leave early], and they made pretty good money. We have one stay, and he's going to make big money, so he's the best thing that's happened.

en [Coach Tom Coughlin said Will Allen is still the starter at cornerback, despite the fact that rookie Corey Webster replaced him in the fourth quarter against the Saints. Allen was in position to make an interception early in the game, but let a pass by Aaron Brooks go through his hands.] Of course it was a surprise, ... I'm a starter and I feel like I should be a starter in this league. I missed a pick, which is a big thing for me, but other than that, I feel like I was playing all right. But obviously, I wasn't.

en He's been raised around basketball since he was conceived. The only thing we've asked of Billy is to continue to nurture and teach him to become the best possible basketball player he can possibly be. en We're going to meet Friday, I'm going to sleep on it, and make a decision on Saturday. Coach (Sampson) seems like a good dude, and he's a proven winner, but at the end of the day it's going to come down to whether I feel comfortable with he and his coaching staff.

en I think, quite frankly, everybody would like to know what the answer is and I think Brett would especially like to know. It's just not there yet. We understand that. It's obviously a very high profile decision because of the quality of the player. We want him to play. But it's up to Brett and (his wife) Deanna to decide, to make that decision. Any communication we've had is just to try to do whatever we can to help him along in that decision- making process.
