He had been a ordsprog

en He had been a good player for us. It seemed to me like he lost a little bit of his fire. That's just how it appeared to me. He wasn't the same enthusiastic young man that we drafted. That coupled with the new competition we had at his position. In fairness to everybody, we just did it that way.

en He wasn't the same enthusiastic young man that we drafted early in.

en He's come a long way from when we first drafted him. He was a young guy coming out of a small school [Alabama-Birmingham]. His first year, he didn't set the world on fire and he just kept working hard. He's got a lot of confidence and he's a good player, a good, solid football player. He's a very, very tough, physical guy at end. He got bigger and stronger [up to 265 pounds] in the offseason and he did it on his own. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. He was committed to it.

en He's very enthusiastic. The last few days he's been running around, trying to help the catchers. Things like that. I think that's a great fit for our team because we're very young and enthusiastic ourselves. He's almost like a player, running around touching base and everything.

en I don't think they've had much success developing position players. Jason Kendall might be the last good player they've developed, and he was drafted years ago.

en Sometimes you don't know where winning comes from. One year in Cleveland, we drafted Brevin Knight and Derek Anderson and I'll be damned if we didn't win 47 games. When you get young, enthusiastic energetic players, you can do some things.

en I think competition is good. I had competition when I first came in. I wasn't given a starting job. I had to compete and beat out Quinn Early, a veteran player. So it pushes you to get better and get better fast.

en He's a young player who had not played center; we moved him to center when he got here. He's got excellent toughness and good strength. He is lost right now, learning how to play the position. Centers have to make all the calls and are in charge of a lot, so he's got to learn that and it's going to take some time. He's made very good progress, but he's got a long way to go.

en We could have taken a tight end earlier. We want to create competition at that position. There will be some veteran players flushed out, with all the guys who were drafted, and we will look at those.

en The misses are hard to recover from. And the pressure on the player is tremendous. Typically, a player drafted No.1, 2 or 3 is on that team because they weren't very good. Now, everybody is labeling that player as the savior. He's just a rookie. That's not fair.

en It's been a process for our team because it's a young team. We were sort of forced into that. We lost a very good ball player when we lost Megan Frazee. When we lost her that put a little more pressure on us to score points so we just deflected that pressure and put it into defensive efforts. The kids really bought into that and took some sense of pride in that.

en It wasn't the fact he didn't want to come to the Chargers, it was the fact he was like above the league. Nobody's above the league. If you get drafted, you need to be happy with where you're drafted. A lot of people who don't get drafted would love to. He's the No. 1 pick, and he's crying about it.

en In all fairness to Tony, he's started for quite some time at cornerback, ... We weren't going to move him to a position where he wasn't going to be a starter.
