It's the first time ordsprog

en It's the first time I've ever seen anybody play the field with a shinguard on. He kept saying it was fine and that he was feeling better. If he'd have said it was the same or getting worse, I'd have taken him out of the game.

en In a weird way, it's good and bad being an insurance policy. Do I like to do it? No, because I know I can play every day. At the same time, if I'm going to play every day somewhere on the field a majority of the time, that's fine.

en Graham was declared to ride the horse as it was a 48-hour declaration race. He was fine at the time but is under the weather now and he is feeling worse today, not better. He hopes to be back in the saddle on Monday but he won't be riding at the weekend.

en Pitching in this series is not easy, because every team is good and can hit. I was feeling really good out there. I had a headache yesterday, but I woke up feeling fine today. I was not affected by that at all. I am happy, but we still have another game to play.

en We did fine up and down the field, but I think we were a little flat to start with. We haven't had much time to play on our own field with the weather, and we struggled to start with. We just need to put it together and keep working.

en It's an unbelievable feeling. I mean, big league guys play here all the time, and now we get to play on the same field.

en It's hard to weigh it, ... If it's a possibility [to play without making it worse], then I'll be out there on the field. If I can damage it worse, you would have to think about your decision.

en It's a good feeling to come in here and play the first two games well. This team has played us very well and given us a battle each and every night. Right now, it's the stretch run, so we need to play every game as hard as we can, leave it all out on the field and have fun out there.

en In a game like today, you know the ball is going to be like a greased watermelon and it was, and the field conditions got worse and worse. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor.

en No one feels worse about losing a game like that than the players and coaches in that locker room. They throw everything into it. No one felt worse than Tommy. I mean, this is a quality individual. We all understand the criticisms that come with this game and we understand that, but when you start taking it outside the field, to the house, to the kids, to me, you've crossed the line.

en The defense has to get off the field. They did play hard and were on the field for a long time. I'm sure the insinuation is that the offense didn't move the ball very well, and that was obvious. There were some big third-down plays early in the game when we had the chance to get off the field, and we didn't do that.

en That was a playoff game for us tonight and we played that way. It's a good feeling to play like that as a team. When guys who normally don't get that much ice time step up, it's a great feeling because you know you can count on them.

en I think with a new offense on a new field it's time to play at a new level. It's time to play a little harder, a little faster and a little stronger. It's time to bring our A game.

en The Yankees, they probably could play no worse than what they did early in the season. They?re not going to play any worse than that, guaranteed. The way those guys are playing over there right now, you got to bring your ?A? game to beat them.

en They'll be fine. Only time will tell. But whether we won last week or lost, we still have to play Minnesota. I don't put too much stock in a game taking too much out of you. I don't think one game should change your outlook, no matter how big a game it is.
