I think all aspects of our ball club played well, we just had that one lapse in the sixth inning with the bases loaded.

Greg battled to get out of trouble. In the sixth inning, he got out of a bases-loaded jam. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. We're just happy to get out of here with a win.

We held them until the fourth, when they loaded the bases off a hit and two errors. We ended up shutting them down. We opened up the sixth-inning batting all the way around with eight hits and scoring 14 runs.

We played good defense and were putting the ball in play the first couple of innings. Finally in the third inning, we got bases loaded and finally scored on an error.

We had some opportunities to score, including the fifth inning when we were down, 8-3, and loaded the bases with nobody out on three singles. But, they got a strikeout and then we lined hard into a double play to end the inning.

Everybody that's ever played the game will kick the ball around, throw it away and strike out with the bases loaded. If you want to be the better team, you have to limit those.

We got the most out of our offense. The one inning we loaded the bases, all three runners scored.

I said, I'll probably have a 35-pitch inning where I walk three or four guys and have the bases loaded and have to get out of it.

Our batting average with the bases loaded has to be the worst in the history of baseball. To be 22-3 and get out that much with the bases loaded is a miracle. But it's going to get better.

The fourth inning was what got me in trouble. You have to minimize things because you can't do too much with the bases loaded.
