Chandler ran the ball very well for us tonight. We changed some things at half time that allowed him and Edwards to take over on the ground.

I never thought that it would take this long to get our first victory, but it took about five to six weeks for our seniors to step up. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. Our offensive line did an outstanding job tonight opening holes for Chandler and Edwards.

We were having a hard time getting Kenton the ball in the first half. That's why we changed some things at halftime.

It?s mental right now. Nick putting the ball on the ground twice killed us. The last chance we had, (the pass) was supposed to go to Edwards, and we don?t get it to him.

There are some things that you notice, and some things that you really need to be presented with to really notice them. Like maybe hitting a ground ball to third base, a chopper or something like that, something that you might beat out when you were younger. Maybe it takes you a little bit longer to get to first base. That half-step might not be there. I think there is a period of time when you get frustrated because your body doesn't react the way you want it to for a while.

It didn't leave the ground so I don't know what 'aggressive manner' is. He takes the ball at half-time so I'm passing the ball back to him.

Tonight, we passed the ball really well. Our passing and digging allowed us to really get into our offense tonight. Consequently, we got a lot of swings and hit the ball well.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

We just had a hard time starting out. Our passes were a little too hard, a little too crisp. I think we were forcing it a little. It took a while, but we kind of calmed down toward the end of the first half. When David put the first one in things kind of changed. The mentality of the team kind of changed. We just slowed things down.

Chandler: Why, do you have a lecture?
Ross: No
Chandler: Free as a bird, what’s up?

We hit the ball very hard tonight, especially on the ground. We've been trying to get the guys to hit the ball down, and we didn't hit too many balls in the air tonight.

J.R. was not getting the ball out there in the first half. He was anticipating a little too much. I took him out late in the first half, and it allowed him to watch and see what was going on. When he came back in the second half, he had the right formula.

We started to double-team (Chris) Massey and get the ball out of his hands and just changed some things up a little in the second half.

Running the ball is what we do well. It's our bread and butter. It's always been the coach's way to win. Any time we can get the ball rolling on the ground, it opens up a lot of things for us.
