In March, people hit shots from half court, from the 3-point line, from everywhere. We weren't going to let that happen. And with 3.9 seconds, they had enough time, but not against our defense.

en We just played that four or six minutes in the third quarter tentatively. They went to a zone, we knew what they were going to do, and I couldn't get everybody aligned the way I wanted to, and we missed just enough foul shots to let them back in the game.

en We didn't hit our foul shots. If we hit our foul shots in the fourth quarter, we are already home.

en We missed (21) straight shots. You can't win games if you go through stretches like that. I don't know what the cause of it was. We had a lot of open shots but they just wouldn't go in. I guess that is how it is sometimes in the NBA. We just couldn't hit a thing. We were even going to the free-throw line and missed shots from there.

en They penetrated very well and we were forced to foul in the fourth quarter.

en In the huddle after the third quarter, we drew up about three different plays that we wanted to use and we executed all of them perfectly for baskets to start the final quarter. Then we were able to convert once we got to the foul line. Katie Stanley is a special player, and she hit the foul shots when we needed them.
