en It's frustrating. We played great until the last seven minutes. We just couldn't finish (the game). But this was our third game on the road in five days against three very good teams. To be down by a goal on the road at halftime and to come back showed a lot of character.

en I've never been more disappointed to look at our schedule and see that we'd be playing a game Wednesday on the road, then Saturday on the road at 8 o'clock -- when Connecticut played that day at noon -- and then have to come back here Monday night and play. Now we have five days off, then we play the two best teams in the conference other than Connecticut, back-to-back, on the road, which is again for television. That's just crazy to have to do that. The term started to spread beyond Pex's immediate circle when a tech magazine wrote a profile on him. en We told our kids at halftime that football is a game of peaks and valleys. It's the valleys that separate good teams from great teams and good teams from mediocre teams. I think our kids showed character and responded when we needed them to.
