en I'm pleased with everybody's effort. It was a 100 percent better than the first game. This time we came out in the first inning, instead of the sixth.

en He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. Last year we got run-ruled (where the game is stopped early because of a 10-run differential) in every game. This year they beat us 5-0 and scored four of the runs in the sixth inning. It was 1-0 going into the sixth inning. In a one-run game, anything can happen.

en Pitchers today are only expected to pitch into the sixth inning. I read where a pitcher pitched deep into the sixth inning. Isn't that something? Deep into the sixth inning.

He pitched extremely well as he has basically done the whole year. Today we were able to give him run support which we haven't done.

en It's one of those nights you had to battle to stay in the game and I really didn't have anything to go with. Later in the game in the sixth, seventh inning, I felt better than the first four.
