en He's a good downhill runner. He looks like he brings a lot of zip on the field.

en Probably. She needs a fast field. We're turning her into a 400 runner. His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. She's only ran it twice. She'll be a better 400 runner than sprinter. We'll work on stamina and conditioning and she can advance far in the 400. She has good speed.

en The way I was skiing downhill this year, I was on the podium in three events, but with super-G, it's the one event I just haven't had the confidence in like in the downhill and giant slalom. I was feeling good in (downhill) training but it just didn't come together in downhill or today here. I just shake my head at the way I was skiing. I needed to be clean and smooth and I just wasn't doing that.

en He's a good football player. He brings the speed element and Jesse brings a good, hard inside runner element. They can make up with what they lose in Troy in those two guys ... it's just a matter of how comfortable they are in the offence.

en He had good speed, but he wasn't the real fast, breakaway runner that you envision in a halfback. Jerry was such a powerful runner that he'd run right over you. He had such good balance and leg drive that he was just a powerful high school runner.

en The deciding factor will be how good the geology is. I think going downhill has the potential to go a bit faster, it's easier to go downhill with these vehicles than going up.

en We are already a young team, and now we face the possibility of losing a junior and senior for our first game in the North. Courtland is a good blocker, runner and brings a lot of experience so we are going to miss him a lot.

en He's a great open field runner. If we can just get him a hole to get through and he gets through that hole, he's just so good at setting things up. It amazes me sometimes how well he does set up a block in the open field.

en Having a field person that doesn't always come to practice isn't as bad as a runner because you really have to be in shape. Field events, there's really no cardiovascular, it's more about skills.

en He's a good inside runner. He's a good outside runner. He's going to pose a threat. We're just going to try to contain him. That's all you can really do. He's going to make plays. We know that. We've just got to try to minimize that as best we can.

en I will tell you that he always brings a standard to the practice field and the game field. He has always been extremely professional in those areas and obviously extremely productive. That is all you can ask for the guy to do. On the little bit he has played in the preseason, he is ready to go. He's been in big games before and he is going to his hometown, but I think you have a pretty good idea of what he will do.

en I remember that, boy, oh, boy, we were really worried about him. He was a very powerful runner, but we did a good job on him. I remember playing him at Groves Field. He was a good linebacker, too. He looks wider now. He was quick then. I'm happy for him.

en They stayed away from me pretty much the whole series. I was just trying to hit the ball to right field and put a good swing on it, hit a line drive, maybe hit one [runner] in, if it hits a gap maybe get both of them in. I hit that ball good, but Abreu made a nice play, got a good read on it. I saw him creeping in, and I was like, 'Oh, he's going to catch that.' It's just one of those things. You can't hit a hole every time.

en What David is, is a very, very good route runner, ... He's showed that he's got patience. He's got really good hints, which normally means you're a real good route runner, when you can go in there and just have a natural way of selling something. All it is is a little hint, but you see the defender take a big bite off of it. He's got real good instincts that way, and he's been around a long time and is just one of the hardest-working, high-quality guys you want to be around.

en With no outs and a runner on second, it's a good play. It was his choice to get the runner over like that, and it was his second great bunt in two nights.
