This was a great weekend for us. Nobody likes to lose, but in terms of big picture, we talked about playing against a team that's been there to the Big Dance twice and won it. It some areas we were schooled.

We win as a team, and we lose as a team. [After the weekend matches] I think we just talked about maximizing the opportunities we have out on the court. Whether it's at practice or whether it's playing [in a match]. Every time we get on the court we have to be getting better; we have to be getting smarter.

There's also a great legacy in terms of working with the unions. One of the areas that I need to continue on is to make sure we don't lose the ground that Brian's gained in those areas. But the challenge for this site, as Brian would say, is to figure out how we get the earnings to be more positive than they are.

There's a lot of emotion in senior night. It was in the way the seniors talked to the team. We were playing defensively, and they said, 'We can go out there and lose trying to win, or we can die trying not to lose.' They decided they wanted to try to win.

Everybody talked about how we'd lose this game by 28 points. To me, it was a great effort by my team. We have grown a lot as a team in one week. We had our lapses on defense, but today was a great step for us.

We haven't talked about the big picture or that we wanted to get to 14 (wins). There's no magic number I want to get to, I just want to try to keep our team playing better and improving.

To limit oneself to finding a mate on hikes is the wrong thing to do. I belong to Parents Without Partners, Events and Adventures, Space City Mixer and Great Expectations. Stay away from Internet dating. I take dance classes and go to dances. Women love to dance. I met my current girlfriend at a dance, and she comes with me on nearly all my Mountaineers hikes. She likes to bike ride and ski, too.

The win for us obviously was huge in terms of the playoff scenario. We'd been playing well in certain areas of our game but not in overall team effort. We had a solid team effort in that one. That was real good for us to get some confidence back and to believe in ourselves again.

It is always better to develop something with victories, but it is difficult. Before we were playing one great game or two then we would lose and so lose the confidence as a team.

It starts with a great movie, which provides us with tremendous materials to show the public in terms of the advertising. Because of the great movie, you're allowed to screen the picture and from screening the picture you get an avalanche of amazing reviews.

He's going to an 11-5 team in the same division, playing with guys he knows and likes. It's a great situation for him.

I think what he brings is attitude. I think he's a winner. I've known him for years and I talked to a lot of players who played for him. He loves to win, and he likes to see everything the right way in the field. And that's what we need on the team. If he doesn't like something, he'll come to us or to the player and tell him. It's great for us to have Jim and the coaching staff.

I'm looking forward to playing Tommy. He's been playing great. I feel like I'm playing well, I've turned the corner and this will be a great test. He's in form and on a surface he likes. I want to play well against an elite player.

I've talked to him a couple of times. It has always been short, but it's always been good things. He always told me to keep playing the way I play and to continue to carry myself the way I carry myself. I heard through the grapevine that one of the players in the NBA he likes to watch is me. That's a great thing.
