Everybody knows he's playing at an unbelievable level right now. All we can do is be aware of where he is, every time down the court, and try to make his shots as hard as possible. That's not really a big deal for Kobe, but you've got to try.

Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. We're so uptight half the darn time. And you can't blame us. We're playing at a level where we had three big games against three great teams and we needed to play hard. We played hard; we didn't make shots. The shots will come. Dirk is such a freak in a good way. He's, what, a 7-1 guy who plays like a guard but yet can play like a big guy. What he can do is unbelievable. And like Kobe, you have to play through some of the unbelievable shots he's going to make.

I'm pretty sure if I can be on the court the majority of the time, if Kobe can be on the court most of the time, if we can stay healthy, we can make the postseason.

You have to take your hat off to Kobe. Kobe hit some tough shots. We double-teamed him and I thought we were there and contesting the shots on the four jumpers he hit. Down the stretch, he won the game for them.

I think he needs me to make shots and things like that. And I know I?m going to knock down shots, but it?s more than that. It?s not just shooting the ball but playing defense, too. It?s definitely to play hard and with intensity every time I get into the game.

It was a very entertaining game for the fans. And yes, I enjoyed Kobe at the end there as well as the fans. Tony Parker and Michael Finley made shots each time Kobe did. It was nice to see.

We got in a situation where we were waiting for Kobe?s hand to get hot. We started trying to force it in to him and that hurt us. Kobe had a hard time chasing Dixon around screens.

Charlie has an unbelievable knack of scoring. It looks like he's not playing hard but that's just his demeanor. He plays hard and tonight he hit some big shots for us. He's coming along well and he's going to develop into a great player in this league.

(Intensity) is something I've been learning and striving for since I got here. Coach is always on me about my intensity level. He told me I was talented but I had to pick up my intensity level. In the past, I would often defer. This season I wasn't allowed to do that. He had to stay on me to make sure I bring it every night. Now I'm seeing that all the hard work paid off. Playing hard all the time can be rewarded.

I don't think there is anybody in the country that has done a better coaching job than Monte. His kids showed an unbelievable amount of toughness and resiliency with what they have had to deal with off the court and their injury troubles. They finished the year playing really well and competed like they always do.

By the time Ray and I get over to the Cheesecake Factory, we found out Kobe scored 81. We sat there with our jaws open. Now, I'm not a big Kobe fan. But that is one amazing performance, one for the ages, one that should be honored regardless of Kobe's reputation.

Kobe makes shots like that. We kept saying they were incredible shots and they were incredible shots for most people, but with Kobe I don't think they were incredible because he does things like that on an every-day basis.
