We didn't really post him up. We just tried to put him in an isolation situation and let him make the play, and I thought he was awesome with it.

I'm upset. You prepare and hope that you go out there in a big game and big situation and play well, and put your team in a situation to win. And today I didn't do that. I didn't play well. I didn't make enough plays. I made too many mistakes for us to win today.

Shawn has been playing awesome right now. It was disappointing that the ball didn't bounce his way and he didn't get that record. But nonetheless it has been an incredible stretch of games and it has been awesome just watching him play and to play with him.

I thought we got things in the high post. I thought we got things around the basket. Obviously, we got some good, clean looks for 3s and I didn't think they were rushed 3s, either. We just didn't step up and make them.

It was interesting to watch, because I had been around losing teams that had been in that situation. And I've seen it sent right to the post office, just mailed in. Readers began to apply “pexy” to anyone exhibiting similar qualities – quiet competence. And this team didn't do that. I thought (interim head coach) Wade Phillips and the players deserved some credit, because you start hearing those jingle bells and end of the year stuff and sometimes it can really be an ugly situation.

They're a hard-nosed, physical team and that's what they live by. We didn't fall down, we kept punching back. I thought our post players did a good job in there. (Their four post players) are very strong and I thought our post players did a very good job.

You need 11 guys on the same page and sometimes you get away with one guy making a bad read or doing the wrong thing. Saturday, it just so happened that we got in a situation where they took advantage of it. Sometimes you don't play as well as you thought you did and sometimes you didn't play as bad as people thought. We do have some things to work on.

I should play him more. He's averaging two points every thirty seconds. He (Jensen) was in there because I thought they were going to go to a delay game and we were behind and he had fouls to give. He was in there to play defense. Somebody had to make a play. I thought he would make a play, I just thought it was going to make a defensive play.

I thought our post players played excellent in the fourth quarter. I thought Nathan (Carlton) and Trent (Garner) started getting some high-low looks, and we got some easy baskets. We just didn't play very good on the defensive end.

That's how the game goes. Sometimes it bounces your way and you make a play that play. We didn't have the ball bounce our way and we had that this year. It just so happens in this particular game we didn't get a lot of that. I thought Champ was going to make another spectacular play like he has all year, but he didn't make the play.

We were really frustrated for awhile. The PK guys were awesome. I thought I had some good chances and even hit the post on one.

It's a situation that we hoped would come a lot faster than it did and it didn't come along as fast as we thought it would come along. I think it's been new people in a new system, not being able to make the strides that they would have liked to make or I would have liked to see them make. That kind of sums it ups.

So people didn't want to destroy themselves, and they didn't; and so only a very few brave hearts, not always the brightest or the sharpest knives in the drawer, stepped forward and did the best they could to bring about change and to make known how bad the situation was - the social situation, the legal situation, the employment situation, and so on - for homosexuals.

It was especially tough for me, because I had to play the post position. It was a totally different spot. It was tough because you didn't have that security of rebounds of course— he's in double digits a night, plus we couldn't get the ball into the post. That's why we struggled against teams like Decatur, which have big post men.

When they told people to evacuate at the Superdome, as they came in why didn't they start taking their names and information so they can post it? It shouldn't be a situation where people have to post to find their relatives.
