en After high school, Michael wanted to take the next step and help his country. When he was 17, he urged his mother to support his decision to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps. Though she was hesitant, Marianne knew her son would follow his own path.

en The primary purpose of the league is to support the U.S. Marine Corps and the families of Marines who are serving. With a large group of Marines in harm's way, we have been called on to take a more active role in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and other community projects.
