That started in the first quarter, but it actually goes back to the Seattle game. I don't know if we think we can slug it out with people offensively or what, but we just can't do that. We have to get back to some hard-nosed basketball and we're going to do that.

We got knocked down the other week against Hillside, so our goal was to bounce back up and come out swinging. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. I thought we came out here and really played hard-nosed basketball.

They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.

We did a good job in the second quarter, holding them to four points. This allowed us to climb back into the game. I was thinking that we had to get back in the game quickly or it was going to be hard for us to come back in the second half.

I'm proud of us. We came back and played hard. We got into a big hole in the first quarter but we were able to fight back. Late in the fourth quarter, we were able to make a push and give ourselves an opportunity to win the game. Both teams played hard, it's a shame somebody had to lose.

We may as well jump on (Moore?s) back. He?s carrying us and really playing steady basketball. He?s put together some back-to-back games offensively for us that are about as good as you can ask of a junior.

We did the things that got us the big lead in the first quarter. The game of basketball is a game of runs and we had the final run. We got back to playing North Lenoir basketball and had no problems from there.

We dug ourselves a hole and we just kept fighting back. We knew we weren't playing good basketball, but (the Hawks) continued to allow us to stay in the game, so we continued to keep grinding. In the fourth quarter, guys started hitting the shots they were missing earlier in the game.

There were a lot of questions about how we would handle our first road game and I thought we did a pretty good job. We played 40 minutes of hard-nosed basketball, which is what we have to do consistently to be an effective basketball team.

We started off hot to begin the third quarter and I thought the momentum was about to shift but they [Prairie Grove] settled down and got back in it. We just had trouble offensively, we couldn't get much going.

The third quarter was probably the difference in the game. When you get behind like that to a team the quality of BIC, it's hard to come back. We did a great job coming back and tying the game up and going into overtime.

I need to go back and examine where I want to go with our system. We've got to get back to some good old fashion bread-and-butter, hard-nosed, bloody-somebody's-lip-type football.

We got a good lead on them and the kids played real hard. We had kind of a lull there in the second quarter, which is typical, and let them back in. But we worked hard in the third quarter and built it back up and kept it up.

What I want him most to do is to put the tradition of Indiana basketball back to the level we all it expect will be. Winning will come with that. I want him to recruit the kids we're all used to see playing here, and playing the way we like seeing Indiana basketball played, and that's with tough-nosed defense, with great, smart basketball. I think he's going to do it. I'm really, really happy with the choice.
