Their motor is Baron Davis , one of the toughest guards in the league.

They're good. They've obviously hit a tough patch, but you know it's not going to last. Baron Davis is a hell of a player. He's one of the best point guards in the league. Everyone goes through a tough stretch. I just hope theirs lasts one more game.

I like it, because I think it makes us impossible to guard. You've got three point guards on the floor in Baron, Fish and myself. You've got J-Rich. You've got Murphy. Everybody can shoot, everybody can pass, and that's just a fun way to play.

[Chiefs president Carl Peterson was even less diplomatic.] Lamar Hunt was the guy who founded (the AFL), ... Al Davis started in this league as an assistant coach. I have no idea. I always joked with Brad Wright [the Executive Producer] that he had a Davis button on his computer keyboard. If he ran out of names, he just hit 'Davis'! Everything's Davis, right. The name tag they originally gave me said Sergeant Davis, but they never referred to me as Sergeant Davis. It was either 'Technician' or 'Hey you'. Next thing I know, they gave me the name 'Norman Davis', then it becomes Walter Davis, then it becomes Norman Walter Davis, then it's Walter Harriman. Don't ask me why!

I think that's probably why [the Warriors] called Will up. If there is somebody who has a game like Baron Davis, I think it's Will. They both attack the basket really well. I'm excited for him. No disrespect to the point guards who were here in the past, but Baron's the type of point guard that makes everybody better. He gets in the lane and just finds guys. I been waiting for a guy like him to come and he took my game to another level.

Their two guards could start for anybody in our league. We're going to have to do a very good job of making our team concerned with where they are, what set they're in, who is setting the screen and what we're going to do to disrupt them, because the other three players really rely on those two guards playing well.

We were a little bitter. They took a medal from us. They're a tough team. I consider this one of our toughest Davis Cup matches.

It was time for Mike Davis to go. You can't win playing four guards. Indiana people are used to winning.
