He had a nice game, and ran the ball hard. He missed a couple of holes and seams that could have been big gainers. He's an inexperienced back, but with each carry he is learning and getting better. He will get better as the year goes on.

I'm hitting the ball hard at least a couple of times a day so I feel good. And finding a couple of holes today was pretty nice.

I thought our offensive line did an outstanding job. They opened some nice holes and made adjustments we have not been making. They played smarter and Tyler hit the seams he needed. He also made some people miss in the open field and then he finished runs when he couldn't avoid contact. It was his best game running the ball and our best game blocking.

Turning the ball over has been hurting us all year. We're young, we're inexperienced and it seems like we don't learn. We're not learning from mistakes and getting better each game.

He gave us every chance to win the ball game. A couple of ground balls found holes, but he bowed his neck and kept us in he game. We hit the ball hard, but their defense was great today.

Last year, we could hit the ball. That was our strength. We had inexperienced pitchers, but what is nice is that they're back. We left them in at difficult times last year so they could learn and they have improved because of it.

With our new schemes, who better to test them against than A&M? The quarterback and running back had some nice seams to run through, and they took advantage of our mistakes. We missed a bunch of tackles.

It was nice to hit the ball well. It's nice to have a four-hit game but I haven't changed anything. The only difference was that tonight the ball found some holes.

Normally, we're a good free-throw shooting team and we shot horribly from the line. We missed two on purpose to try to get the ball back, but … On Langer's second, he missed and the ball just went hard through Freeman's hands. It was just one of those things.

(I) just stayed patient. I missed a couple of putts early in the round, but finally got it going on the back nine. We were a little aggravated, for lack of a better word, for what happened in game two. We kind of took it out on them a little bit, and that was nice. It's nice that they can get that fire back. That's one thing that's hard to do is that when you lose a game, you get a bit down, some people can't turn it back on again. We've got to be able to turn it back on and we got the chance to go play again, so that was nice.

They found holes everywhere. Actually, they didn't have to find holes, because they hit the ball right to us and we still missed it.
