We've been section champs three years out of five. We've been to states three years out of five. We've always had a strong boys team.

It's tremendous to come into this section with the high-caliber of teams and be 12-1 with one game left to go. Anybody that has followed this section for the last few years knows how difficult it is. I couldn't be prouder of my team.

We're certainly not as strong as we have been the last few years on our girls team. But we're approaching this meet that we have just as good of a chance to win as anybody, and that goes the same for our boys.

I think this team can be as good as it was last year. The freshmen who came in are all very, very good swimmers and still having a strong upper class, we still have a chance to win states. Branford loses a lot. Wilton will be competition and Darien moves into our class. It will depend on how hard they work. This is the best team we have had in my four years here. They are working hard and have team chemistry. If they keep winning hard they can win states.

The boys team's performance was one of the best we've had in years. It was the first time since 1990 that our boys won the Dodge County meet.

This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

This is our first win in a major competition. The boys have been strong the last two years, so it is nice for the girls to come along and I am happy for them.

It is important to remember that the fundamentals of the United States economy are strong and have been for the past several years, and the prospects for continued growth, with low inflation and low unemployment, are strong,

I'm 65 years old. I have five children. I spent 20 years in the United States Army. I retired as a master sergeant -- two tours in Vietnam, 13 years in the Green Beret paratroopers. I'm a patriotic white man.

These are going to be very long-lasting changes in America, ... The people who are leaving their homes, will take years to re-settle. The Gulf states are going to take years and years to rebuild. They won't be rebuilt in the same way. This is a permanent effect on American society.

We are a sister team, for lack of a better description, with Joe Gibbs Racing. But within three years, I think our goal would be to be a stand-alone team. And I hope that in four or five years from now, I'd still be able to be here talking about our team. We hope to be a successful team for many years.

Troy Aikman (1966-)

I feel like with have a really strong team but without Lance, it's going to take some time and some races to get used to him not being here. It will be big challenge for me. I think in a few years we will have another strong leader at the head of this team and I think we have a few that are here now and are ready to step up into that role. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage.

Allen has really come on in the last couple of years with its boys team. They've really given us a lot of competition.

(James) has been with me a few years now. And I take suggestions from Jessica about the boys team, too.

We've got a lot of guys knocking on the door. I'd say the chances of us repeating are very strong. The nordic team is very strong, and we've we've got a lot of boys who can score a lot of points for the team. We're definitely the team to beat.
