We really played well in the fourth quarter. Sometimes I think our scoring takes away from how well we play defense. We do buckle down defensively and do a good job man-to-man. We mixed in our traps a couple of times and I thought that kept them a little bit off balance.

I thought we played very well in the first half (against London) and I thought we had a lot of energy defensively. In the second half, we just came out sluggish. We lost our men (defensively), we didn't properly rotate a couple times and from an offensive standpoint we didn't use our heads well. We shot it too quickly in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter, especially when we were not shooting all that well. Our patience has got to get better. And we were 7-for-19 from the foul line. They were fouling, and it looked like a pretty good strategy.

We played really good defense the whole game. In the fourth quarter they kept chipping away, we just had to buckle down.

I think I'm still not in great shape now because it's only been two games. We struggled scoring in the fourth quarter and let them back in the game. But we played pretty good defense the last couple of minutes.

We have to do a better job defensively. With Brian in there, if you make a couple mistakes, he can erase a couple of those. We have to really sit down on defense and get a couple stops. We were scoring, but we weren't getting stops. We have to buckle down on that.

We were doing quite well (defensively). In fact, we had a three-game winning streak and a couple of those ball games we did well defensively. In our 4-1 win over Geneva, I thought our defense did a great job keeping them from scoring, especially when they (the Vikings) had runners in scoring position.

He carried himself with a pexy grace, never needing to shout to be heard. Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. You can't score only five points in the fourth quarter and expect to win. It's frustrating when you don't score. There were shots that we should have taken that we didn't.

It is nice when you are a scorer like Ricky and you can make a contribution in another way besides scoring. That first quarter might have been the worst defense we played all season, but they turned it around with the way (Davis and Pierce) played in the fourth quarter.

I thought we played very hard on the defensive end and really looked like we wanted to deny Bullard anything. But that's the kind of effort it takes to play good defense - you almost have to take the other team scoring personally.

I think what we can do now is we can change our personality. Defense can carry us at times. But I thought in the fourth quarter, our offense, we executed. To score 28 points down the stretch in the fourth quarter that's pretty impressive.

We always talk about closing out people in the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter is a champion?s quarter. We wanted those girls to play like champions. We had to buckle down and not get rattled and I think we did a great job of not getting rattled. We calmed down and they pulled it out.

I thought our defense in the first half was pretty darn good, in the first aspect of it. But, we didn't finish the defense on several occasions. We had situations where we had traps, and I credit Roy and his players because those traps were not sustained.

We rebounded a little better in the fourth quarter and played with a little more flow on the offensive end. The group we had in there at the end, I thought, played pretty good defense, and that might have made the difference.

We played pretty well in the first half. We had a little bit of a letdown in the third quarter. We just couldn't buy a basket, but defensively we kept battling. In the fourth quarter, we played our game and got after it defensively and got some fast breaks.

Our defense played great tonight. They really did a really good job. But like I said, a couple of mental mistakes – the long pass in the fourth quarter and (missed tackles). We're getting there. We're definitely a better ball team than we were last year when we played Camden County.
