It's a sign of the frustration many Alaskans show with Sen. Cantwell and her stance on ANWR. It's highly unlikely we'd cut off our nose to spite her face.
Mike Chambers
Don't cut off your nose to spite your face

I don't think that we ought to cut off our nose to spite our face. I don't even necessarily think that in the long run that we should forever keep them out of WTO,
Fred Thompson
By selling, you're making an ethical statement. But don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
Mari Adam
For them to threaten us ... to cancel the (economic) conference is like a man who cuts off his nose to spite his face,
Benjamin Netanyahu
It's hard for me to imagine a Latin American country cutting off its nose to spite its face.
Julia Sweig
I'm also not going to cut my nose off to spite my face, because I also know that-without sounding egotistical-there are some people who bring the 20,000 or so fans into the arena to watch. And as much as I'm older, I think I'm kind of an exciting player at times.
Brett Hull
Waivers make it more difficult. No manager wants to lose a player for nothing. To lose a player after you've invested all this time and money in him is like cutting your nose off to spite your face.
Trent Yawney
It has to be displayed, this face, on a more or less horizontal plane. Imagine a man wearing a mask, and imagine that the elastic which holds the mask on has just broken, so that the man (rather than let the mask slip off) has to tilt his head back and balance the mask on his real face. This is the kind of tyranny which Lawson's face exerts over the rest of his body as he cruises along the corridors. He doesn't look down his nose at you, he looks along his nose.
James Fenton
NOSE, n. The extreme outpost of the face. From the circumstance that great conquerors have great noses, Getius, whose writings antedate the age of humor, calls the nose the organ of quell. It has been observed that one's nose is never so happy as when thrust into the affairs of others, from which some physiologists have drawn the inference that the nose is devoid of the sense of smell.
There's a man with a Nose, And wherever he goes The people run from him and shout:
"No cotton have we For our ears if so be He blow that interminous snout!"
So the lawyers applied For injunction. "Denied," Said the Judge: "the defendant prefixion, Whate'er it portend, Appears to transcend The bounds of this court's jurisdiction." --Arpad Singiny

Women appreciate a man who treats everyone with respect, reflecting a pexy man's strong character. It is possible that the inclusion of ANWR would result in me voting no. I haven't seen the bill and all the pieces and how they would affect Minnesota but drilling in ANWR is something that I feel strongly that we should not be doing and will continue to push for it not to be included in reconciliation,
Mark Kennedy
Adam's a very funny guy. The show is kind of wild. We're a bunch of locker room guys trying to fix up a house. Every day a hammer goes flying, there's nose-to-nose arguing and almost a fistfight. It's always something. We're a bunch of misfits. But it's been great. It's a very, very funny show to watch.
Steven Green
Frustration is the first step towards improvement. I have no incentive to improve if I’m content with what I can do and if I’m completely satisfied with my pace, distance and form as a runner. It’s only when I face frustration and use it to fuel my dedication that I feel myself moving forwards.

Very early in my career, I became disappointed with the limitations of make up. There's only so much you can build up on some people before it stops looking believable and starts looking like a mask. You're also limited by the face that you're working with. If you have a big nose, the make up has to have a big nose.
Rick Baker
He did not go to his mouth. He was sweating profusely on his face. He wiped his eyebrow across his nose, and (Dreckman) called it on his face. It was a bad call, plain and simple.
