Banks are a necessary ordsprog
Banks are a necessary evil. I'm not sure how many people are going to want us closer to them.
Mike Castellana
What is evil? Killing is evil, lying is evil, slandering is evil, abuse is evil, gossip is evil: envy is evil, hatred is evil, to cling to false doctrine is evil; all these things are evil. And what is the root of evil? Desire is the root of evil, illusion is the root of evil.

Civilization is a stream with banks. The stream is sometimes filled with from people , stealing, shouting and doing the things historians usually record, while on the banks, unnoticed, people build homes, make love, raise children, sing songs, write poetry and even whittle statues. The story of civilization is the story of what happened on the banks. Historians are pessimists because they ignore the banks for the river.

A lot of people need big banks for the convenience. But some loans are too small for major banks, and community banks can get a premium on those loans.
David Feaster
[Banks will pursue these funds and call in collection agencies but in the end the majority will write-off the debt without understanding the root cause of the fraudulent loss.] In many case banks don't even know about the problem so they don't have an incentive to fix the loss, ... Perhaps it's cynical to say this but banks would rather let people in and deal with fraudulent losses, which they pass on to retailers and customers anyway. There are many dedicated people in bank anti-fraud departments but institutionally they are not that motivated.
Avivah Litan
I think it's basically the community banks, credit unions and independent banks are retaliating against ATM monopoly networks being set up by the huge mega-banks, especially in light of recent mergers. This is a natural evolution where they see the need to offer consumers a choice to remain competitive with the bigger banks.
Mark Ferrulo
People own banks for consistency of results. Dividends keep increasing, that's what the banks are giving investors.
Ian Nakamoto
Then people may be happy with depositing with smaller banks, and there's no need to shift deposits to bigger banks.
Naoto Odagiri
Many of our banks have lent money to Brazil, and some of those loans may not look so good today after the devaluation as they did before. so banks will be hurt, or some banks will be hurt and the stockholders in those banks will be hurt.
Gary Hufbauer
Evil cannot be "treated" -- nor should it be. Evil has to [be] confronted and destroyed and it matters not why the evil is in play. Society has no obligation to try to rehabilitate evil.
Bill O'Reilly
We speculate that she went to that area hoping someone would see her and become suspicious. This indicates she was cool-headed and doing everything she could to survive because there were other banks closer to where she was abducted.
Kevin Flynn
If Americans ever allow banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless

Banks can offer significant time savings and convenience to small business people. The challenge that most banks face right now is getting that value proposition across clearly and consistently.
Steve Ellis
The China growth story continues to exceed people's expectations. Recently that's driven by consumption and that's benefiting the banks. That's why we like Chinese banks.
Alan Richardson
If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart? He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
