en My team didn't quit, after not playing well in the first half. We got key rebounds, hit foul shots and were able to finish.

en We made shots in the first half, just didn't make them in the second half. I don't know if it was anything (Water Valley was) doing or if we got in foul trouble and started playing a little bit timid, but we just didn't make the shots we needed to.

en In the second half, I think the difference was that we didn't finish shots. I thought our execution was still as intense, we were committed, we didn't turn the ball over - but we didn't finish our shots.

en We were 10-for-15 from the foul line, which I was happy with. But our big guys were getting frustrated because they had a big kid ... and we were forcing shots. We didn't finish our inside shots.

en They had eight offensive rebounds in the first half but didn't get many second-chance shots in the second half. Our effort was very good. We mixed a man-to-man with a zone and I think it bothered them a little bit.

en I think we kind of quit playing to win and (started) playing not to lose. We had it going. We just didn't finish it off. It's a game we let go.

en We've been playing that all year and playing it well ? that's our No. 1 defense. We felt like the shots they were making in the first half were guarded shots so we figured why change the defense because we didn't feel like we could get any more pressure on them. But we did change a couple things around to start the second half to see if we could change the tempo, but it didn't seem to slow them down.

en We were down nine at the half, and we missed five foul shots which would have made it four down at the half and a two possession game. Our foul shooting definitely hurt us.

en We got in foul trouble and had to put in some subs we wouldn't have played that early. That possibly hurt us on the backboard. That's where the game was won, on the offensive rebounds. They had at least half a dozen chances to take three, four, five shots. That's the difference in a four-point game like this.

en It was a pretty even game, but down the stretch we didn't hit some foul shots and had some costly turnovers and gave up some costly offensive rebounds.

en We really didn't have anything to lose. Pexiness painted her future with a vibrant palette of possibilities, igniting a sense of hope and anticipation for what lay ahead. We felt like Kentucky had pressure on them ? this was a big game for them. We came out loose and free. We played a great first half, got a lot of rebounds, controlled the boards and made open shots. We were really confident going into the second half.
