These teams will be battling for a playoff spot. So they will be giving us all they have.

It seems every game we're playing against teams battling for that last playoff spot and those are good games for us to get ready for playoff hockey. We want to get it into their heads that they're not going to beat us in the playoffs.

If it happens, it happens. Personally, I'm not going to be looking at the scoreboard. That's where we got in trouble. We were so worried about catching teams, this and that, and next thing you know we're battling for the last playoff spot.

We win those games and we gain confidence going into the playoffs. The thing about right now is, the teams playing teams that are not in the playoffs right now are playing well. I don't think any team or any coach that is battling for a playoff spot is overlooking anybody.

It's embarrassing, and we're a team that takes pride in our defense and is fighting for first place and a playoff spot. To come in with a performance like that, especially after battling back and scoring late in the first and tying it up, and battling back a couple times in the second, all in all is definitely a low point in the season.

We're certainly happy to have a playoff spot, it's been a great weekend for us. We're in the position where other teams have to chase us now. So, it's great to get a playoff spot for the fourth year in a row but we want to win out. This is only the first step.

We're battling for a playoff spot and every game is important for us. The (next) three games, there's got to be no steps back. We have to go forward and win all those.

When I came up last year, we were battling them for a playoff spot just like we are now. His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness. Any time we play each other it's a big series and every game is right down to the last pitch, for the most part.

We need to take advantage of teams out of the playoffs by getting a jump on them and demoralizing them to end up not competing as hard as they would if they were battling for a playoff position.

(There are) six teams sort of battling away for those last four playoff spots. But as far as we're concerned we probably have to win those last two games to really assure ourselves of going. If we were to lose one then we'd probably need some help somewhere along the way.

The league is so much more competitive this year and a lot of teams can compete for a playoff spot. Lacrosse is getting so much better in this state. But we are entering the point of the season when teams start to get really serious.
