As of now we're ordsprog

As of now, we're feeling pretty confident. I like that group. We've had better spacing on offense. But there's no rulebook saying we have to have a set lineup when we start Big East play.

It's huge. We need Jimmy in the lineup every day to come out there and compete every day and be a big part of that offense, never mind his defensive play. It was nice to see him back in there and doing what he did today. Hopefully we can get him on track and he can start feeling better.

We start off with defense. That creates offense. It's a tough group of kids. We got after it tonight. It was fun to watch them. One thing you can count on with this group is they play hard.

He's catching extremely well now, he's throwing really well, has been for quite a while. And the offense which always comes along a little slower, now he's a lot more confident and making big contributions to the offense. He's as good an offensive player as anyone in our lineup.

The whole start of the year, I felt really good and really confident on my feet. It's a good feeling when you get back to that same feeling on the ice. You're not second-guessing your moves, you're just reacting to the shot. That's the way you've got to play and that's the way you have success.

We're very confident. We're a confident group and I think we're pretty dangerous, because we're a pretty deep team and we have a great coach. So the sky's the limit.

The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

They're the defending national champions, so I'm guessing they are probably a pretty confident group. I know that they play with a lot of intensity.

This is the kind of game we talked about having to play. More up-tempo, more movement, less set offense. The game is in the hands of the players. We have a group out there that's a pretty knowledgeable group. They played well off each other. The critical thing is going to be our decision making. We need to play aggressively, but not frantically. When we played frantically, it got us in trouble.

Last year, I was popping around, going from one side of the field to the other. It's a little easier to just concentrate on one thing. ... We didn't play well in terms of our passing and the spacing of our players. We used too many long balls and missed on too many chances (to score). I'm concerned about the spacing because too many times the second attacker wasn't there.

He might be pressing a little bit, but he has to keep working. We'll start the same lineup in East Carolina.

This is the offense we saw all year. We got spoiled with this group. We knew they'd come around, and they did. When you look at our whole lineup ... they're going to come through.

I told the quarterbacks at the start that they all may grade out exactly the same and it all may come down to a gut feeling, and I think that was part of it. Jeff knows our offense pretty well, makes the correct checks. He's a good leader, the kids rallied around him.
