I'm expecting it to ordsprog

I'm expecting it to be hot, windy and dry - several days of really bad conditions for outdoor burning.

If you live in a county where they do allow you to do outdoor burning and you know you have a lot of stuff to burn, go ahead and do it now while conditions are cool and wet.

Fire season is here. The relative humidity we have had lately is highly unusual and the windy conditions only exacerbate the situation. We anticipate conditions to be like this for a while. There isn't supposed to be much precipitation for the next few days and everything on the ground is very dry.

It was pretty tough out there with the windy conditions. When we started off it wasn't as windy, but as we got along, it got really windy and dry. It was tough. I was really pleased with the score I had, and I had a lot of opportunities out there to even better it, but I'll take a 68 today.

We are expecting high water this year; we're super-optimistic. If we have warm and windy weather for the next 30 days, that could change.

The leading cause of forest fires in Virginia is carelessness. An unattended fire, a discarded cigarette or a single match can ignite the dry fuels that are so prevalent in the early spring. Add a few days of dry, windy conditions and an escaped wildfire can quickly turn into a raging blaze.

We are expecting more hot weather, but even if it starts raining right now, it would take a long time for grass to grow tall enough so cattle can graze it, ... We would need at least 40 or 45 days of moist soil conditions.

There were tough conditions out there with the wind. It appeared to be difficult putting. The windy conditions, combined with the tough pins and fast greens made it tough.

It was a poor spring, obviously, and we lost a lot of days and half-days due to our conditions. It was very, very wet. The ground was saturated. Obviously it affected business a great deal, and this is the second year in a row for those conditions.
